Masterplanning Buzzard Point in Washington, DC  INDIVIDUAL PROJECT - SPRING 2016

Transforming an underused urban area to incorporate more green space, expand economic activity, and bring visitors.

In this project, my classmates and I created different solutions to the future planning of an area in south-east Washington, DC called Buzzard Point. There were many considerations such as traffic and pedestrian circulation, access to green space for exercise and leisure, ecologically sensitive sites for storm water remediation and educational purposes, and economic growth.
