My last semester at UMBC I had the pleasure of working at the university's career center. While I was initially hired as a front desk clerk, I was given the opportunity to create signage and other designed documents towards the end of my time there. While generally essential elements to design, attention to color, alignment, and hierarchy are particularly crucial when designing material for professional communication.
